Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) Tuesday warned the PDP-BJP government of ‘dire consequences’ if it does not stop issuing Permanent Resident Certificates (PRCs) and caste certificates at the school level which is aimed at “changing the demography of Jammu and Kashmir”.
Expressing serious apprehensions over the “wicked plan” of issuing PRCs at school level in Jammu, the HCJK said, “It is not hidden from anyone that Mufti Muhammad Sayeed has surrendered before RSS fanatics and is leaving no stone unturned in satisfying his BJP masters and implementing the hidden agendas of fascist ideologies in Jammu and Kashmir.”
Castigating Mufti led government, they said, “Issuing PRCs at school level is a ploy to change the demography of the State of Jammu and Kashmir as thousands of non-local students are studying across the state.”
The statement quoted the HCJK leaders as having said that India and its “anti-Kashmir” politicians are hell bent upon settling the non local populace here only to “bring down” Muslim majority status and to counter the pro-freedom resistance in every respect.
They alleged that under a proper plan PDP is providing every support to BJP in changing the demographic character of Kashmir which was a “long dream of RSS and its fascist ideological” people to tamper the State Subject laws.
