After suspected militants shot at Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) District President for Pulwama Abdul Gani injuring him critically, he has succumbed in Srnagar’s SMHS hospital, hospital sources said.
As per official sources, Gani who was advocate by profession was on way to Srinagar when suspected militants stoped opened fire on him between Pahoo and Pinglan villages.

He was shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar where he breathed his last.
As per sources, Gani has survived one militant attack when he was associated with Congress party few years ago. At that time, his PSO retaliated and that resulted in the killing of one militant.
