Atleast two armed militants were killed in an encounter in South Kashmir’s Tral.
Police said that the encounter started Sunday afternoon.
Reports reaching here said that two militants were Sunday killed in an on-going gunfight with forces in Tral area of south Kashmir.
“The encounter erupted after a joint party of 3 and 44 RR along with SOG Awantipora challenged a group of militants in Haari village of Parigam in Tral,” the reports said.
Police sources said that the identification of the two militants has been done, however, they did not reveal their identity. Encounter was going on while this report was being filed.
