Jammu and Kashmir N N Vohra Tuesday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him various issues concerning the state.

Official sources said the governor briefed the Home Minister about the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, which last month saw unrest following killing of four persons in action by security forces on protesters who were demonstrating against alleged molestation of a girl.

There was tension in NIT, Srinagar last month following clashes between outstation and local students after India’s defeat to West Indies in the World Cup T20 semi-final.

All these issues figured in the meeting, the sources said.
