As Langate lawmaker continued to disrupt the lower house proceedings, the speaker Kavinder Gupta listened asked treasury benches to to stop and listen to what Rasheed had to say.
As Rasheed to rose to speak, he asked CM Ms Mehbooba Mufti, “Madam what happened to promised you made to families of those killed in Handwara?”
Five civilians were killed by forces following protests against an alleged molestation bid by an army man in main Handwara chowk.
CM listened to Rasheed and gestured that she will answer the query.
Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, had flown to Kupwara and met the relatives of those killed in April.
Meanwhile, NC lawmakers led by Omar Abdullah returned to the house.
