A patient died in SKIMS on Monday due to the Swine flu creating more apprehensions among the masses.

The patient was identified as Rayees Ahmad Malik son of Mohammad Ayoub Malik, a resident of Malikgund Shopian in south Kashmir.

Patwari by profession, Malik was only 25.

Malik according to SKIMS sources died this morning after he was admitted in ICU as case of ARDS.

“He was suspect of having H1N1 and was tested positive for influenza A,” they said adding however H1N1 sub typing will be available by late tonight.
