The Srinagar district administration Monday evening said that there will be restriction in some areas on Tuesday. Third death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Muhammad Afzal Guru is being observed on February 09.
Separatist groups have called for complete shutdown tomorrow.
Speaking to Kashmir Life, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Farooq Lone said, “there will be restrictions in the areas that fall under five police station of Old Srinagar on 9 February (tomorrow).”
The police stations to be under restrictions are Nowhatta, Khanyar, Mahrajgunj, Rainawari, Safakadal and Maisuma.
