Amid the deadlock and stalemate over the government formation in Jammu and Kashmir the top leadership of BJP, PDP met in state’s winter capital to discuss the on-going situation.

Sources divulged to KNS that the former education minister and former chief minister’s close confidant Naeem Akhtar, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti’s political advisor Peerzada Mansoor, former R&B Minister Syed Altaf Bukhari, former Deputy chief minister Dr Nirmal Singh and former forest minister Bali Bhagat met in Jammu, discussing to present deadlock and the forth coming political situation of the state.

The meeting besides sending signal all across about the changing political scenario has also given rise to the possibilities about the formation of the new government.

However, one of the senior leaders who attended the meet which was held at Altaf Bukhari’s Jammu residence said that “nothing should be read between the lines” as the leadership of both the parties have met in their personal capacities. “We have been colleagues for 10 months. We have worked together for the coalition government and there is nothing wrong if we meet and talk, the leader said.”
