Srinagar:
Asserting that government was adopting aggressive approach towards the resistance leadership, Hurriyat (m) spokesman has strongly condemned the continuous house arrest and imposition of curbs on the social, political and religious activities of its chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
In a statement issued here, he said that in view of the continuous house arrest of Mirwaiz, the democratic claims of the state were falling flat, adding, the state has imposed blanket ban on the freedom of expression in Kashmir. He, however, stressed that such “draconian measures” would in no way weaken the resolve and commitment of the resistance leadership.
