Even the negotiations for a “deal” between the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Hindu nationalists have reached to a final stage, the new government for the Jammu and Kashmir state is likely to be formed between February 15 and 20.

Sources privy to the developments taking place during the negotiations informed Kashmir Life that the government formation may take some more days.

“The drafting of the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) is under process and it will take some more days,” they said adding “every bit of the CMP is being discussed thread bear till the parties make their point.”

The government formation, they said, “will surely be possible between February 15 and 20.”

Pertinently, the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had on Wednesday said the BJP was looking forward to formation of a popular regime in Jammu and Kashmir.

J&K is under Governor’s rule since January 8, 2015 after election results threw a hung Assembly.
