SRINAGAR
Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani is returning from New Delhi on April 2.
He had left Kashmir in the month of January on the advice of doctors. Hurriyat spokesman confirmed the returning of Geelani and said “He will be received at Srinagar Airport by his followers.”
Suffering from many ailments, Geelani had his medical checkup in Delhi and he almost completed a commentary on the Persian poetry of Alama Iqbal (RA).
Geelani spent most of the time under house detention since 2010.
