While expressing its surprise and deep sorrow over the tour of some so-called Molvies to the different Indian cities which was organized and arranged by the Indian army on the name of “Awareness tour”, Hurriyat Conference (g) said that it is a group of some conscienceless people “who just for their petty interests are damaging our Milli and national cause and by using them India army want to hide the serious situation in Jammu & Kashmir and want to give wrong message to the Indian people that everything is fine in Kashmir and normalcy is returning to the state”.
In a statement to KNS, Hurriyat (g) said, “Indian army has forcibly occupied the state of Jammu & Kashmir and this army is involved in serious kind of war crimes in Kashmir. They have not only killed over a lakh innocent Kashmiris but they have also molested and raped thousands of our sisters and daughters.”
According to the press statement, Hurriyat (g) said, “for hiding their crime graph, the Indian army is working on different fronts and for this purpose they have also bought the services of some little known and knowledge less Molvies who easily get trapped to serve their agendas.”
Hurriyat (g) cautioned “these type of Molvies that not to harm their own Milli and national cause and don’t spoil their life hereafter”.
The Hurriyat (g) chairperson, Syed Ali Geelani further termed that the continuous detention of Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Aasiya Andrabi and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Ameer Hamza “as worst kind of state terrorism and lawlessness”. They were arrested days before the Eid-ul-Azha. Geelani demanded their immediate release.
He said, “Asiya Andrabi was 5 times granted bail during this period and Ameer Hamza has also been bailed out by the court but the state police is reluctant to obey the orders of the court and both the leaders are continuously under the police detention.”
