The University of Kashmir is all set to start small food kiosks within the campus—which would not only be ‘affordable’—but will be eco-friendly, too, said the varsity’s PRO.
“Basically, we found that some students weren’t able to afford the charges of existing cafeterias and for this we have started this initiative,” PRO said. Around 7 kiosks will dot the campus shortly, he said.
The kiosks will be having a capacity to accommodate around 25 people at a time and would be offering snacks, tea and light eatables.
These prefabricated kiosks are Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) sponsored initiative, PRO said.
