NC is releasing 4th list of its party candidates in coming days, party general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar told KNS. He maintained that the deliberations over the list are going on and Omar’s name is likely in the list.
However, sources in the party maintained that there are tensions over the mandate for Ganderbal, Bandipora and Tangmarg. Former Ganderbal DC Showkat Ahmad Mir is seeking mandate from Tangmarg asserting that though he was initially promised Ganderbal. Party, however is keen to send Dr Mustafa Kamal to Tangmarg to assert that Abdullah’s are there out in the field.
Sagar, however, denied all the reports stating that there is no rift within the party over the issuance of mandates.
