Scores of trucks and private vehicles are stranded on Srinagar-Baramulla highway near Sangrama in North Kashmir.
A passenger who is on way to Srinagar told Kashmir Life that army has laid cordon on Sangrama-Baramulla highway around 9:30 PM.
“I was coming to Srinagar when army stopped many vehicles including trucks and private cars,” the passenger asserting to remain anonymous.
“We tried to talk to them but they did not listen,” he said. “They did not let any vehicle to pass.”
When contacted an army official said, “we don’t carry out any operation on our own. It is police which we accompany.” He, however, said, “in view of Friday, forces remain alert.”
