Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi on Tuesday said that the “anti-Kashmir and anti-Pakistan rants” by External Affairs Minister, Ms Sushma Swaraj, during her speech at the UNGA session were “baseless and unrealistic”.

“We have nothing to do with whatever she said about development in India but the part wherein she talked about Kashmir and Pakistan concerns us. The allegations levelled against Pakistan and that ‘JK is India’s’ integral part’ was nothing but rhetorical lies which India spreads to continue its illegal occupation here,” she said in a statement.

“These are absolute lies. A country is staking claim upon a place which has sacrificed more than six lakh of its people just to see an end to the illegal occupation, eight lakh armed forces have been deployed here, people in lakhs have been jailed, maimed and tortured. Do such things happen at a place which is ‘integral to any country’s sovereignty?'” she questioned.

Andrabi said that the latest phase of resistance movement saw more than 90 person killed, hundreds blinded while as thousands were arrested. “Despite such brutalities and resistance by people, India shamelessly terms JK as its integral part.”

She said that “India is sending more and more troops to control JK by force”.

Andrabi further said, “India is the perpetrator of all the heinous acts and crimes but was blaming Pakistan for it. India’s blame that ‘Pakistan sponsors terrorism’ is yet another lie. Pakistan is the victim of worst form of Indian sponsored terrorism. Several Indian agencies operate in Pakistan and sponsor terrorists to weaken Pakistan.”

“Whatever India blamed Pakistan for is actually what India does. It sponsors terrorism in Pakistan, its armed forces kill innocent Kashmiris every day. Moreover, this is a country where people are lynched to death for eating beef or just slaughtering a cow,” she said.

“India is s country whose PM, without any shame, talks about dividing Pakistan into two parts. World must ask who sponsors terrorists and which is a terror state. The answer is India is an industry of terrorism while as Pakistan is a victim,” she added.

Andrabi further said, “India’s lies on Balochistan were also exposed by the grandson of Nawab Akbar Bhukti. Shahnawaz Bhukti exposed and shamed India by saying that the person from Bhukti family who is seeking asylum in India is an Indian stooge and enjoys many favours from India. The Indian drama stands exposed now.”

Andrabi reprimanded Swaraj for terming pro-Kashmir rallies in Pakistan as “acts of terrorism” and accusing the pro-Kashmir leaders as “international terrorists”.

“The leaders who make speeches at these rallies highlight the miseries of an oppressed nation which is brutalised by an arrogant country. On the other hand, Sushma is an activist of a party whose leaders have kept a bounty of Rs 5 crore on the head of Pak PM, Nawaz Sharif,” she said.

“Every now and then right wing activists and their leaders give hate speeches against Muslims and other minorities. Events like Samjhota Express, Mecca Masjid blasts, Babri Masjid demolition and massacre of thousands of Muslims in Gujarat clearly explain who perpetrates terrorism and who does not,” she said.

She said that Sushma knows that the country she is representing “is headed by a person who is involved in killing innocent Muslims”.

“Sushma’s speech was made to hide crimes committed by the Indian state and its leaders. Because of business interests of some countries in India, India was taking undue advantage and was defaming Pakistan. Indian PM, Narendra Modi’s speeches and his deeds now resemble the Pharoah and Namrood. Like these arrogant and oppressive rulers, Modi too is now talking about stopping water to Pakistan. But he must understand that India has no authority to stop water to Pakistan. He is actually fooling Indians as it is a known fact that India can never do it . Sharing of water resources has been agreed under a treaty and Modi or any Indian leader or government can’t change it,” she added.

She said that when India and Pakistan were divided, “water resources too were divided”.

“The statements by Swaraj mustn’t weaken the resolve of people. People shouldn’t be upset. By the will of the Almighty Allah (SWT) and consistency in pursuing the resistance movement, India will soon be forced to accept the disputed nature of JK and we will be free. In this regard, I also urge Pakistan to continue its support for us and remain steadfast in its resolve and commitment towards oppressed Kashmiris,” she added.
