J&K police have arrested four gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 2500 from the gambling site.
“A police party from Budgam during patrolling apprehended four gamblers in Hyderpora area,” JKP spokesperson said on Monday afternoon.
It said that the gamblers were identified as Javaid Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Amin Mir, resident of Bemina Nund-Reshi Colony; Rafiq Ahmad Pahloo, son of Abdul Aziz Pahloo, resident of Bagwanpora Barbarshah; Muneer Ahmad Bhat, son of Ali Mohammad Bhat, resident of Chanpora and Faisal Ahmad Qurashi, son of Muzamil Qurashi resident, of Batamaloo Main Chowk.
“Police recovered stake money of Rs 2500 from the gambling site. A case under section 13 gambling act has been registered in police station Budgam and further investigation has been taken up,” the spokesperson added.
