At least five paramilitary CRPF men were wounded in a grenade blast in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Monday.
A grenade was lobbed at CRPF men in Wanpoh area at an where CRPF men were deployed along the Srinagar-Jammu highway. The grenade attack damaged a private swift car which was stationed nearby.
Reports said that five CRPF men were wounded in the blast, of whom three were shifted to Islamabad district hospital.
“They are stable,” hospital sources said.
The three CRPF men admitted to Islamabad hospital were identified as Anil Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Arun Kumar. They belonged to 90 Battalion of CRPF.
