In a befitting reply to those spreading sectarianism, Shias and Sunnis held a joint meet in Poonh in Jammu region of Saturday.
Anjuman-e-Jafariya Poonch organized a joint Shia-Sunni meet at Imam Bargah Poonch.
The participants discussed various issues faced by the Muslim Ummah .
The scholars in meeting talked about the need of unity at this particular time.
Among others, the meeting was attend by scholars of both Shia and Sunni sects including Maulana Syed of Zia Ul Uloom, Imam Jamia Masjid Imamia Ale Muhammad Zaid Sahab, Rahat Hussain Nahvi, Maqbool Ahmad President of Anjuman-e-Jafariya and others.
At the end, Shafeeq Baba addressed the gathering and emphasised on the need of unity during Muharram Al Haraam.
