Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti have expressed grief over the loss of lives in an accident on the Gurez-Bandipora road.
In a condolence message the Governor has conveyed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls. He has wished speedy recovery to the persons injured in this accident, an official spokesperson said this evening.
Raj Bhavan Spokesperson noted that the Governor has expressed serious concern, yet again, about the recurring loss of precious lives in road accidents and the continuing delay in the required remedial steps being effectively enforced.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson said that Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti expressed grief and anguish over the loss of precious human lives in a tragic road accident near Tragbal on Bandipora-Gurez road.
In her condolence message, the Chief Minister conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. She directed the administration to provide all required treatment to the injured in accident.
