A meeting of the officers of Handloom Department was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora Sajad Hussain in Bandipora on Monday to discuss the issues with regard to implementation of Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
It was given out in the meeting that 650 candidates have applied for setting-up of own income generating units under PMEGP in the District, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The applications were submitted online to DIC, KVIB and KVIC.
The meeting decided that the interview of the said candidates will be conducted on September 7 and 8, 2016 at Bandipora. It is for the information of the candidates, who have applied for the same, to be present for the interview on the scheduled dates.
Chief planning officer Bandipora, Assistant Director Handloom and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
