A detailed review of developmental works being executed under core sectors in the District was taken in the Conference hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Tariq Hussain Ganai.
During the meeting, the progress achieved so far under R&B, PHE, Health, Education, Rural Development and other sectors was reviewed, an official spokesperson said Saturday evening.
The executing agencies like JKPCC, Housing Board and R&B, were directed to accelerate the pace of work and ensure timely completion of the projects.
The issues pertaining to the construction of Central University of Kashmir and Government College for Engineering and Technology were discussed threadbare and measures to be taken for resolution of issues were underlined.
All the officers were directed to closely monitor the pace of developmental works in their respective domains.
Reviewing the working of Health sector and supply of essential commodities, it was informed that all the Health Institutions in the district are functioning round-the-clock in the prevailing circumstances.
Adequate stock of life saving drugs is available in the district, besides other essentials like Rice, Atta, and Sugar.
The District and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
