A day after meeting Union Home Minister in Srinagar, J&K Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti flew to Union Capital on Friday.
Sources said that Mehbooba has reached New Delhi where she is expected to meet the Union government leadership.
Notably, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh returned to New Delhi on Thursday after finishing his two-day visit to Kashmir.
Before flying to New Delhi, Rajnath and Mehbooba addressed a joint press conference at latter’s Fairview residence in Srinagar.
Kashmir is witnessing a mass uprising triggered by the killing of popular militant commander Burhan Wani on July 08, 2016.
At least 69 civilians have been killed while over 8000 persons have been injured.
