According to District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, 25 buses have been arranged by the district administration Pulwama to ferry students for appearing in UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) scheduled to be held at various centres in Srinagar on 28 August 2016.

The DDC said 14 buses will be available at DC Office Pulwama, 4 at Police Station Tral and 4 at Police Station Awantipora, an official spokesperson said Friday evening.

He said all the buses will leave at 5.00 pm sharp and also drop back the candidates at the said places after the examination is over. He said the candidates shall have to bear the fare charges themselves.

He said students can contact ARTO Pulwama on Cell No: 9419258172, Tehsildar Awantipora on Cell No: 9419022386 and SDM Tral on Cell No: 9419001388 for any assistance.

“The students who want to board the bus at other stops on way to Srinagar should contact Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Pulwama on Cell No: 9419000806,” he said.

Transport Facility Available for Baramulla NET Candidates

District Administration Baramulla has arranged transport facility for the UGC NET aspirants of Baramulla district for which Additional District Commissioner Baramulla has been nominated nodal officer.

The vehicles would be stationed at DC office Baramulla, SDM office Tangmarg, Degree College Sopore and Degree College Pattan.

The candidates have been informed to be present at 5.30 am on August 28 at the respective venues.
