Cm with Civil Secretariat Women Officers on July 29, 2016

Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, Friday interacted with the women staffers of the Civil Secretariat and sought their support in reaching out to the people and mitigating their sufferings.

The Chief Minister said it was heartening to note that despite facing difficulties due to the prevailing law and order situation, the women employees arrive at their workplaces regularly to mitigate the problems of the people, an official spokesperson said this evening.

The Chief Minister enquired from the women staff about any difficulties being faced by them so that same could be taken care of.

“I am always accessible and doors of my office will remain open for you,” she said, while assuring the women staffers of her support in mitigating their problems.

The Chief Minister said she would like all in the government to be proactive and innovative and find practical and implementable solutions to the people’s problems instead of resorting to the hackneyed approach.

Urging the Government officials to be more considerate in their approach, the Chief Minister said the officials should know that even a casual noting on a file by them can make or break a common man’s life.

“They should take great care while handling files.  They should know that one day they will also have to visit government offices for such matters that touch their everyday life,” she said and added the State Government would take due care of the career aspirations of the meritorious and hard-working employees.

On the request of the female employees, the Chief Minister issued directions for arranging transport facility and suitable accommodation for them.

The women staffers expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for her kind gesture.
