Deputy Commissioner Showkat Aijaz chaired a meeting of sectoral officers to review the financial and physical achievements registered under various sectors under district plan by the end of June in Kulgam on Thursday.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner called for expediting pace of execution in order to meet the development targets well ahead of the schedule, an official spokesperson said this evening.
He reminded the officers about the short working season of the valley and emphasized upon optimization of all available human and material resources to boost development and bring improvement in economic profile of the district.
It was enjoined upon officers to remain in headquarters and ensure timely redressal of public grievances and effective monitoring of the welfare programmes aimed at promotion of public welfare.
