Senior Congress Leader MLA Shangus Gulzar Ahmad Wani Tuesday said the PDP-BJP coalition government is just not interested in establishing peace in Kashmir and they instead have unleashed state police and forces upon the besieged and unarmed citizens of the state.
“This government is clearly being controlled by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and is enacting the Nagpur Agenda and has killed more than 50 young men in a matter of two weeks, undoing all efforts of earlier governments in the direction of establishment of peace in the valley,” Wani said in a statement issued this evening.
“Even the Home Minister did not appear serious despite two-day visit to the state and announced no concrete measures to correct the situation or to genuinely engage with various stake-holders to end the imbroglio,” the lawmaker said.
“The PDP-BJP coalition in the state is instead serving bullets and tears to innocents,” he added, “The PDP must immediately resign and withdraw from this sinister coalition assuming moral responsibility for the loss of precious lives and the political retrogression that has been imposed upon the state.”
