President Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Dr G M Mir Tuesday appealed all doctors across J&K to come forward and help the needy patients at this hour of crisis.
“We appreciate the work you people have been doing in treating the injured which we are any way duty bound to do, however, with this we have a social responsibility as well that is to help all those people who are not in a position to meet the treatment expenses and are looking at us to help them,” Dr Mir said in a statement issued early this afternoon. “We can’t leave our brethren alone at this hour of need.”
DAK has decided that a special fund will be created for these needy patients. DAK president Dr G Mir has appealed all doctors to come forward and support this noble cause religiously, the statement said.
