Eight persons including a 15 year old boy and a woman got injured after forces fired pellets on protestors on Tuesday in South Kashmir.

Clashes erupted in Islamabad district soon after curfew was lifted after 17 days of siege from the district today.

Local Correspondent reports said that soon after curfew was lifted, people at around 3 pm started taking out protest demonstrations.

In Malkhnag area of the district, forces fired pellets on protestors resulting in injuries to at least eight people. The injured were rushed to Islamabad district hospital for treatment.

Reports also said that sporadic protests also erupted at Janglatmandi, Cheeni Chowk and other areas.
