Two leopards appeared in a village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.

Reports said that the wild animal appeared in Palpora village of Shopian.

The appearance of the leopards created panic in the area and people tried to chase them out from the area.

The people meanwhile called wild life department.

“One leopard scaled a tree while another fled away towards orchards,” an eye witness said.

The leopards were yet to be detained by wild life officials when last reports came in.
