Minister for Health & Medical Education, J&K, Bali Bhagat on Friday reviewed response preparedness in the border areas of Kashmir Division.
A statement issued by Directorate of Health Services Kashmir this afternoon said, “in view of the prevailing situation along the Line of Control and the International Border, the Minister for Health & Medical Education has directed Health Department to issue instructions to the concerned district functionaries to personally supervise and augment the resources available in the hospitals and the health facilities in the areas adjoining the LoC.”
Bali Bhagat has directed for Institution-wise supplementation in sensitive areas of various medical blocks in particular the availability of manpower especially round the clock Surgical and Ambulance Services.
Moreover, the DHSK statement said, in view of the instructions the Directorate has implemented a plan for mobilization of additional requirements as part of the contingency plan.
