Advisor on Foreign Affairs to Prime Minister of Pakistan Sartaj Aziz on Monday said that international community should play its due role to resolve Kashmir issue for durable peace in the world.
Talking to media in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, this evening, he said Organization of Islamic Cooperation has strongly condemned the human rights violations in Kashmir and offered to send it fact fining mission.
He said Pakistan gives importance to relations with neighbouring countries and will work for establishment of peace in the region.
Sartaj Aziz said that that Pakistan will attend the Heart of Asia Conference which is schedule to be held in Amritsar India next month, Radio Pakistan reported.
Earlier, addressing a ceremony at Lock Virsa, he said that Pakistan had launched effective diplomatic campaign to raise the Kashmir cause in the world.
He said that the peace in the region will not be ensured without resolving the issue.
