Governor N N Vohra on Monday, appointed Justice (Retired) Bilal Nazki as Chairperson and Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, District and Session Judge (Retired), as Member of the J&K State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), with effect from the date they assume charge of their offices, an official spokesperson said this evening.
Chief Minister meets Governor
Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti met Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan, here today.
The Governor and Chief Minister discussed the internal security situation, the steps underway to restore normalcy in the State, issues relating to the revival of the educational sector, measures required to revive economic activities and the post Darbar move issues, the spokesperson added.
