A truck of Food Corporation of India has caught fire in summer capital on Saturday, when it was parked outside the CAPD office in Karan Nagar.
While speaking to Kashmir Life on phone, SHO Karan Nagar said , “A truck of Food and Supplies Department after unloading the rice was parked on a side at Tankipora where it caught fire.”
He was not sure about the actual cause of fire, however, he said, “perhaps, the driver of the truck was preparing food inside truck and it caught fire due to leakage in stove.”
There are no reports of any casualty, he added, “but the truck has been partially damaged.”
