National Conference on Saturday condemned the killing on a youth, Junaid Ahmed Mir or Nasrullahpora, Budgam and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Budgam, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Junaid Ahmed Mir and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi rubbished accounts where the death was being attributed to natural reasons and said the wave of mass repression in Kashmir was going on unabated while the State Government was in a mode of denial and delusions.
“This is another heart-rending tragedy and we have lost another young life. The cycle of death and destruction is going on without any change and both the Central and the State Governments are culpable because of their arrogance, negligence and brutality against the people of the State,” Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi added.
