After the killing of two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants in a brief encounter with the government forces in Hayatpora village of Budgam district on Saturday, a shutdown is being observed in the village and its adjoining areas.
Reports said that, market in the villages surrounding Chadoora didn’t open up on Sunday morning and there is very thin movement of public traffic on the roads.

The gunfight, as per police officials, broke out on Saturday afternoon after militants opened fire on the patrol party of 53 Rashtriya Rifles (RR).
In the brief gunfight , police said that, two militants identified as Younis Maqbool Ganie of Patrigam Budgam and Abu Ali, a non-local were killed.
Soon after the news of encounter spread, civilian protests were also reported from the area.
