Amid prevailing unrest in Kashmir, the State cabinet is likely to meet on Thursday evening where a major reshuffle in police and administration is on cards.

As per a local news gathering agency, KNS, the cabinet would meet at civil secretariat under chief minister Mehbooba Mufti at 6 in the evening. “Besides prevailing situation the cabinet would order a major reshuffle in police and administration,” sources said.

Pertinently this is going to be second cabinet meeting during the current unrest that followed after the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Wani and his two associates in an encounter on July 08.
