Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) chief and MLA Langate Er Rasheed Sunday expressed disappointment over visit of Home Minister Rajnath Singh to Kashmir and alleged that unfortunately Government of India is yet again trying to give the impression that what so ever is happening in J&K is a “law & order problem”.

In a statement issued to KNS, Rasheed said, “what so ever Rajnath Singh spoke in Kashmir is enough to conclude that he visited Kashmir like a landlord and wanted to give directives of his choice to Kashmiri leaders and Kashmiri youths.”

Er Rasheed also condemned “unionist political parties for not calling spade-a-spade and said, “those who met Rajnath Singh preferred to be as usual confused, apologetic and unrealistic.”

“Rather than playing with the words Omar Abdullah and others should have told him loud and clear that whole J&K is a disputed territory and India has a history of broken promises,” he said.

“Similarly, PDP delegation of political renegades rather telling Rajnath Singh about real issues, preferred to be behave like loyal servants,” Rasheed, who is in New Delhi these days said, “even Ms Mehbooba Mufti didn’t allow this opportunity to go waste in abusing and accusing Pakistan”
