While Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is in town, another youth who was hit by a bullet fired government forces succumbed on Sunday afternoon.
Sources in SKIMS Soura identified the slain youth as Samir Ahmad of Khunmoh, Srinagar.
He was hit by a bullet during protests in Pampore area on Sunday – July 10, 2016.
He was rushed to Pampore hospital wherefrom he was referred to SKIMS Soura where he was immediately operated upon.
At least 51 civilians were killed by forces since July 09, 2016 when mass protests erupted seeking “freedom”. The civil uprising started a day after popular militant Commander Burhan was killed along with his two associates in Kokernag area of South Kashmir on July 08, 2016 evening.
