Union Home Minister’s visit to troubled Kashmir is just to “encourage and congratulate” his ruthless armed forces that are hell bent upon a “well-planned genocide” of Kashmiris.
“We know their intention well how they want to liquidate whole Kashmiri nation and occupy the land and its resources,” Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani said on Saturday.
While commenting on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to valley Geelani said that those who have pinned any hope on this visit are “living in a fool’s paradise” as our 70 years’ experience with “India stands testimony to the fact that they were never sincere and realistic regarding Kashmir”.
“Their visits are only symbolic just to hoodwink the International Community on one hand and befooling their own people on the other. They come to appease their men in uniform and paid collaborators on whose behest they unlawfully occupy our territory,” the octogenarian leader said.
He further said that they want to give this false impression that they care for us and have come to sooth our wounds.
Geelani said, “after martyrdom of Burhan Wani, Indian forces have crossed all the limits killing more than 55 innocent young Kashmiris, crippling for lifetime more than 4000 people and blinding over 200 people including minor kids. Indian Home Minister was watching this barbarism and dance of death and destruction by his so-called ‘security persons’ but condemning apart he didn’t even mention it. Rather putting a blanket of white lies to hide these heinous and ruthless crimes.”
“He repeated his old and withered blame against Pakistan that it is only he who harbours and helps this unrest here in Kashmir. These Indian rulers never want to see the ground realities, they are speechless on more than two lakh people offering funeral of Burhan, they turn blind on the young and enthusiastic Burhan’s in every nook and corner of the state, they turn deaf to the throttling echoes of Azaadi in every Masjid and they even turn heartless on braving chests who dare bullets and pellets for the goal of liberation,” Geelani said.
“This Pakistan blame-game has been nullified and rejected by the whole world and even the conscious people and politicians of India itself frustrating these blood thirsty rulers. Had they been realistic they would have not forgotten the historical fact that the Pakistan is an important stakeholder viz-a-viz Kashmir and nobody on earth not even India with its military might can stop him,” he added.
Referring to the worldwide protests in favour of Kashmiris Hurriyat Conference (g) chairperson Geelani said that this should have been enough for India to address the basic issue, but arrogance of power has lead them to use utmost force to crush the people’s genuine and basic rights.
Referring to the atrocities on kids by Indian forces, Geelani said, “the 5 years old Nasir of Kokernag stands a living proof of barbarism and brutality where the innocent child has been tortured by putting a needle in his eye. Can anybody on earth imagine this?”
The ailing leader appealed the people that the “India has created a do or die situation for us and we need to show utmost unity and discipline to achieve our much cherished goal”.
