“Let people of India understand that we are not enemies of India and want a political resolution to the dispute in light of UN resolutions,” Rasheed told the gathering, “the people of India are being misled by their successive governments and it leaves no stone unturned to hide ugly atrocities on Kashmiris.”

Rasheed said, “whatsoever is being said inside and outside parliament is nothing but a desperate attempt to buy time and delay the resolution to Kashmir dispute.”

Rasheed, who was flanked by his spokesperson Inam un Nabi, appealed think tanks, scholars and young Indian masses to ask New Delhi not to kill Kashmiris in the name of “so-called national interest”
