Condemning the killing of three police personnel in Srinagar on Monday, the Cabinet which met here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti expressed profound grief over the inhumane killings.
Describing the killings as cowardly acts, aimed at derailing the peace and reconciliation process in the State, the Cabinet said that such killings cannot deter the resolve of the Government in moving ahead to bring peace and normalcy to the State.
While expressing solidarity with the families of deceased ASI Ghulam Mohammad Bhat R/o Surigam, Lolab, Head Constable Nazir Ahmad Mir R/o Chack Sarmarg, Handwara and Constable Mohammad Siddiq Sheikh R/o Doodi, Machil, Kupwara, the Cabinet assured that Government stands by the families of the martyred policemen in this hour of grief and will extend all possible help and assistance to the next of kin, an official spokesperson said this evening.
