Srinagar: The residents of Barbar Shah area of Srinagar city are worried about the growing incidents of burglary in the area.
A delegation of the residents said that for last 10 days, 7 incidents of burglary took place in the area but police is doing nothing to stop these incidents.
According to the locals, a group of “highly professional” burglars are operating in the area, thus creating insecurity among them.
“We have several times apprised police about the matter but they have failed to nab the thieves. We appeal SSP Srinagar to look into the matter and direct the concerned authorities to restore sense of security among locals,” they said. (CNS)
