Normal business resumed in lower house of state legislature on Tuesday on day six of current 2016-17 J&K Budget.

The lawmakers are discussing developmental works.

Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti, FinMin Dr Haseeb A Drabu are present in the house as the house will be discussing budget which was presented by Dr Drabu on Monday.

Opposition benches are full and its leader, Omar Abdullah too is present in the house.

As soon as the house resumed its business this morning, Independent legislator, Er Rasheed, stood up from his seat and told the house that two families consisting of 13 members are on way to Kashmir but stranded in Nepal. “They have not been allowed to enter India,” he said asking Government to ensure they reach Srinagar soon and safe.

While business is going on in Zero Hour, discussion of Budget is scheduled to start around 11:00 AM.
