An Assistant Sub-Inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir Police has gone missing in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district since Thursday.
According to official police sources, ASI, Mohammad Shafi Parray of Wasun Ganderbal went missing on Thursday afternoon. He had not returned till last reports came in.
“We have registered a case and investigations are on. We have constituted a special team to trace him,” a police official said.
Parray, according to official sources was posted at Budgam district and was absent from last one year.
Meanwhile, family members of the Parray staged a protest demonstration at Wasun Ganderbal demanding his whereabouts.
