Minster of Animal Husbandry & MLA Pampore Zahoor Mir was on Monday attacked by civilian protesters at main market in Ratnipora area of Pulwama district.
However, no injuries have been reported in the incident
In order to escape from the spot CRPF & police personnel used heavy teargas shelling to disperse the angry civilians who were raising pro-freedom and anti-government slogans.
The incident took place when Mir was on his way to PDP leader Showkat Gayoor’s residence to condole his mother’s death.
Police sources said that the situation is under control.
