“It is matter of great misfortune that State Government has set on self destructive communal tones and this time, it is emanating from Katra to Shopian in the South Kashmir. District administration Reasi will be holding a 6 day long pilgrimage  to Kousar Nag in between Reasi and Shopian and it is starting on July 28.All this will led to disastrous results on environment with mismanaged amaranth Yatra already proving fatal for Kashmir environ,” party said in a statement.

According to a statement issued to KNS, it added, “We are facing now another environmental onslaught in the form of another unnecessary and visionless Yatra being started towards Kousar Nag located among the pristine hills. We should not harm the virgin beauty of this gorgeous place and put our best of efforts to save this and   the concerned authorities should do away with the proposal of this ill conceived Yatra.” “For the moment, Kousar Nag Yatra is worrying all the sane voices in the valley of Kashmir and State Government should halt the ill planed move.”
