SRINAGAR
A Tavera Taxi which was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu bearing No JK03D-8876 rolled down in river Chenab at Mehar, 2 km away from Ramban town at 06:30 am Saturday morning.
Out of 12 onboard persons, 6 persons were injured, 4 persons died and 2 persons were missing till now.
To fish out the bodies, Baglihar Hydro Electric Power Project authorities decreased the flow of water.
All the injured have been hospitalized at D.H Ramban.
All the passengers have been identified as the seasonal construction workers from Bihar, who were on way to Srinagar.
