SRINAGAR
Two persons died while five others were injured in different road accidents in the valley, a police statement said on Friday.
A Motorcycle driven by Shabir Ahmad Padder son of Mohammad Rafiq hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Gani Sofi resident of Naibasti, Islamabad at K.P road, Islamabad. In this accident, the motorcyclist also got injured. The injured were shifted to District Hospital, Islamabad where Abdul Gani succumbed to his injuries and motorcyclist was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
Meanwhile, a Truck bearing registration number JK13C/5411 hit a Ritz Car bearing registration number JK15-0391 at Lawaypora in Parimpora resulting in injuries to two persons Hatam Lateef Zargar and Momin Ahmad Pandith residents of Umer Abad boarding the car. Both the injured were shifted to the hospital where Hatam Lateef succumbed to his injuries.
A Tipper bearing registration number driven by Zahoor Ahmad Wani resident of Lower Munda hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Hassan Bhat resident of Check-e-Imoh at Kulgud in Achabal. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.
An Eco vehicle bearing registration number JK05D-7432 hit and injured a lady Amena Begum resident of Warpora at Warpora, in Sopore. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore for treatment where from she was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
A Maruti car bearing registration number JK01C-0673 and a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13C-0673 collided at Wanbal in Nowgam, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Zahid Rasool Mir resident of Kiramabad, Pulwama. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Load carrier bearing registration number JK01V-5158 driven by Ali Mohammad Trumboo resident of N.R Colony Bemina collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13B-9139 driven by Kounser Ahmad Ganaie resident of Gundbal, Pampore at Tengpora Bypass resulting in injuries to the pillion rider Mushtaq Ahmad Ganaie resident of Gundbal, Pampore. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joints hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
