Two persons died while four others were injured in different road accidents, a police statement said.
An unknown Tipper hit Nazir Ahmed Dar son of Mohammad Ramzan Dar resident of Dawlatabad Khanyar at J&K Bank Hqr, Srinagar resulting in his on spot death.
Meanwhile, a vehicle bearing registration number JK02AN/7296 fell into a deep gorge near Kanuchay, resulting in on spot death of Fateema wife of Late Ammanullah resident of Haknism, Kargil.
In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01Q/0576 hit and injured Mohammad Maqbool resident of Khandi Khass on NHW Arampora, Kupwara.
Meanwhile, a Figo car bearing registration number JK01Q/4409 met with an accident near Master Pro College Bye Pass Nowgam, resulting in injuries to two passengers. Both the injured have been shifted to Hospital for treatment.
A lady identified as Zana Begum resident of Wagoora was injured after an unknown vehicle hit her at Sutsoo Kalan, in Nowgam Srinagar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
